The performance software for the K1200LT improves peak horsepower and dramatically improves the bikes on and off road characteristics. The chip is designed to enhance the stock and after-market exhaust systems.
Specific software is required when a performance exhaust system is added to either the early or the late production K1200LT. When you order please be aware of this difference.
A performance option for the 2005 K1200LT will be released 6/01/05. This is a camshaft gear set that significantly improves midrange torque. That last statement bears repeating, SIGNIFICANTLY improves midrange torque. We are confident that the riders will be quite surprised at the difference.
